Personally, I don't think that this is a bad single, in fact its a bloody good one. I love the A-Side track Whatever, and the B-sides are very good.
The title track is not featured on an album and was recorded as a 'one off' song. and when released was loved by all. Half The World Away and (Its Good) To Be Free are found on The Masterplan B-Sides album. Slide Away is found on Definately Maybe. Download them all above....see what you think.
On the whole an excellent single
